Why Awards Matter
While most awards primarily serve a commercial purpose, they play an essential role. They reward the remarkable work agencies and businesses do, showering them with much-deserved recognition. Our consultancy service aims to help these organisations strengthen their award entries and enables organizations to launch award programs that spotlight incredible achievements. This aligns perfectly with our non-negotiable belief.
Yet, while we believe in the power of awards, it doesn’t entirely fulfill our “perfect world” vision. Thus, our step pledging with 1% for the Planet.
What is 1% for the Planet?
Founded in 2002 by Yvon Chouinard, the brain behind Patagonia, and Craig Mathews of Blue Ribbon Flies, the 1% for the Planet initiative is more than just a commitment. By joining, we pledge to donate at least 1% of our turnover (not just profits) to approved non-profit organizations focusing on environmental causes. It’s our way of standing with countless other organizations and individuals striving for a sustainable future.
Our planet direly needs more support. Shockingly, only 3% of philanthropic contributions currently go towards environmental causes. The 1% for the Planet network is on a mission to change this dismal statistic, signifying an organisation’s staunch commitment to our planet and its inhabitants.
Your Role in Our Pledge
For our valued clients, this commitment means that 1% of the fees they invest in our services directly benefit environmental causes. We’re deeply grateful for the trust they place in us, and we’re thrilled to share that, thanks to their continued partnership, we’ve supported several noteworthy organizations, including Rewilding Britain, Ghost Fishing UK, Environmental Investigation Agency UK, and the Sumatran Orangutan Society.
